  The level of incompetence, poor costumer service, and lack of professionalism I experienced at Tuxedo Classics in Hammonton is something only my worst enemies should experience. The only thing done correctly was taking my sons measurements, everything else from this initial point was done poorly to say the least. My son’s tuxedo was to be picked up the Tuesday before the Friday night prom. My mother-in-law offered to pay for the tuxedo, and when calling she had to explain over and over who my son was because the staff at Tuxedo Classics were insistent on confusing my son with another person with a slightly similar name. This confusion never cleared and every time we went to the store they tried to give us, and charge us for the other person’s tuxedo. I say “Every time we went to the store”, because we were at the store daily until Friday. On Tuesday the day our tuxedo was to arrive we went to pick up the tuxedo. After going through the misery of our name being confused again, and flipping through numerous slips of paper we were told our tuxedo did not come in, but would be in the next day by 10am. So on Wednesday we go back to the store, and repeat almost exactly the same process, name confusion, flipping through papers, tuxedo did not come in, and it will be in tomorrow. Thursday may be a different day of the week, but no one is getting any smarter at Tuxedo Classic. Thursday is again same as the previous two days, name confusion, flipping through slips of paper, tuxedo not here will be here tomorrow. Problem is tomorrow is the day of the prom, and I have no confidence in this place at all. During the many visits to this store and waiting for our nonexistent tuxedo there were other customers coming and going experiencing the same level of madness. Our tuxedo did come in on Friday the day of the prom, but the whole process was mishandled from start to finish. I would not recommend going to Tuxedo Classics for your formal wear needs. When it comes to important events in your life do not involve this business.
